Our beautiful bride Emily shows us how to wear a soft smoky eye on your wedding day.
Getting married is a pretty big deal - so I think all brides deserve some rather special makeup.
It was a joy to do Emily’s makeup and hair on the morning of her wedding. Emily was so calm but excited for her special day. It was such a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the temperature was just perfect. I had Miss Impeccable from the Pro Team assist me who is a very talented artist and always a joy to work with. Miss Impeccable looked after Emily’s mum and Emily’s bridesmaids so I could give 100 percent to Emily’s look.
The Hair xx
Emily went for a natural half up half down hairstyle, with soft waves for her hair we added some gypsophila flowers to the back of her hair. Gypsophilas are such a popular flower for brides to be as it’s such a delicate flower and can look amazing in all bridal styles.
The Makeup xx
For Emily’s makeup we went for a soft smoky eye and Emily wanted to make the most of her gorgeous piercing blue eyes. We used a mixture of soft greys and cream tones from Tom Ford. If you've been reading any of my other blog posts you will know that I am a big fan of Tom Ford eyeshadows - they have so much creamy pigment to them and a little goes a long way!
For every bride their wedding day is such a special day - but for Emily's wedding at Blenheim Palace I felt it was extra special! The soft smoky eye looked absolutely timeless on her and as you can see from her wonderful photos it will truly be a special day xx
To open Emily’s eyes up even more, I added a thin black fluid line to the root of the lashes and added some individual lashes, I mixed small and medium lengths to really open Emily’s eye.
We went for a simple nude pink shade to the lips and matched this with a NAR’s blush to give Emily a soft pink wash of colour.
I love Emily’s look, a classic beautiful a bride. The wedding was set at Blenheim Palace the perfect venue to get married.
