Creating the look…

The first step in any make-up application is well moisturised skin. I follow this with a brightening serum, which lifts and smoothes out any fine lines. I love the Korres’ Brightening Serum, as it is a natural source of vitamin C, which significantly repairs skin colour disorders while adding an immediate radiance.

Next the foundation – always use a foundation brush! You will get a much better look and finish. What’s more, you won’t be stretching the skin and you’ll use less product, so your foundation will last longer.

You really only need a small amount: the same size as a one pence piece. I absolutely adore the Wild Rose foundation, as it has a medium to high layer-able coverage, which allows you to build the coverage dependent on your skin texture and preferred finish.

I then used two of the Korres long-lasting eye shadows, 14 Ivory and 10S White, which contain sunflower and evening primrose oil. These are easy to apply pressed powders, which I blend together – starting with the white at the inner corner of the eye and the ivory on the outer, making the eyes look slightly bigger.

The collection’s black liquid eyeliner is so easy to control and is long-wearing and smudge resistance, which is what we all need! Always apply your liner right at the root of your lashes, to make your lashes look fuller and thicker, before adding the mascara to the top and bottom. The mascara offers a volcanic dramatic look, without any weight, while strengthening and protecting the lash.

I always like to add a bit of bronzer, to give a sun-kissed feel to the skin, combined with a touch of pink blush for a great luminous finish.

For the lips, I fell in love with the Quince Lip butter, which is so moisturising and has a great pink tone to make the lips look and feel amazing.

And that’s it, all you need for a fresh warmth this autumn!
