My Bride Rosy and her husband to be Alastair.
This was a stunning 1920's Wedding at St Paul’s Cathedral and the Savile Club, London. Rosy was an absolute joy to work with. I was so excited about seeing the pic’s - Rosy looks simply stunning from day to night, with her army of lovely bridesmaids wonderfully complimenting her.I was thrilled to work with Rosy, it goes without saying that St Paul's is one of London's most famous landmarks, non other than the icon of our generation Lady Diana Spencer married Prince Charles at St Paul's Cathedral - making getting married at St Paul's Cathedral a dream for any lady!
It therefore comes as no surprise that not just any bride can marry in St Paul's Cathedral, you must be part of the St Paul's Cathedral Community, although the privilege is also extended to members of the Order of St Michael and St George, the Order of the British Empire, holders of the British Empire Medal, members of the Imperial Society of Knights Bachelor and their children - even then the Archbishop of Canterbury has final say on the Special Marriage License!
The St Paul's Cathedral 1920's look....
Rosy went for an glamorous 1920’s vintage look. I created a low bun with 20’s soft waves flowing into her bun. Rosy had a stunning Gillian Millon headpiece to match from which I wove into the waves.
With Rosy’s makeup I created a more natural look to the 1920’s style. With a soft flick to the eyes opting for a grey MAC fluid liner instead of the usual black. As always all the makeup I used around the eye area was water proof, Rosy mentioned she would be very emotional on the day.
For Rosy’s lips we went for a soft natural burgundy - maroon shade from Tom Ford as opposed to a rich red, which would of been to strong.
This look was perfect for Rosy to go from day to night…….
Here are a few pic’s of Rosy’s and Alastair’s big day. “Beautiful”
