Gemma works hard to make sure that all of her Pro Team are trained to the highest standards. She offers all of our artists continuous training throughout their time on her Pro Team. Training is held in the studio offering a fully equipped, perfectly lit space to practice all aspects of hair and makeup.

This is what she got up to last Hair training day with Miss Wanderlust xx

I recently did a days one to one hair training at the Studio with one of our bronze team members, Miss Wanderlust.

Miss Wanderlust is fully trained in Makeup and has recently decided to use her creativity to see how she gets on training in hair.

With all of our artists the first steps to hair are the basics, this is the time that we spend going over product knowledge and starting to learn aspects such as prepping & setting the hair.

Achieving a bridal style that has  long-lasting hold is very different to your average visit to the salon.

Miss Wanderlust was great at learning the techniques of curling and setting hair using straightening irons. So, quickly, we managed to set her models hair and prepare it before moving onto some popular styles.

She started by creating a loose, romantic half up style made up of soft curls and perfectly finished with one of our Hair Vines! She added hair extensions to thicken and add volume to the hair. The half up style is very popular with our brides and bridal parties and can be adapted to suit all hair types/ styles.

After we decided to create a loose, chunky plait, another firm favourite with our brides. This style is extremely simple to create but is also extremely effective! Miss Wanderlust wanted to keep the style chunky and boho looking so she twisted larger sections of the hair leaving a few loose strands to soften the look.

All of our courses are tailored to ensure that our artists are working to their full potential. We love training days in the studio and look forward to getting the team together regularly for a group training days.
