Kate and Karl's wedding took place at one of my favourite venues, Botleys Mansion, a Bijou Venue.
Kate and her bridal party made up of her mum and 4 bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready in the bridal suit at the venue.
The weather absolutely was beautiful, the perfect day for a British summer wedding.
Hair and Make up by me - Miss Sunshine
Kate usually wears her Make up very natural so I kept everything very soft and natural on the day enhancing her big eyes and strong cheekbones. I used a matt MAC eyeshadow in a light beige shade and contoured the lid with a darker brown. I added individual lashes to open the eye using a short length to keep the look soft.
To keep Kate's skin looking natural and glowing, I used an illuminating primer finished with Luminous Silk Foundation by Armani. I contoured Kate's amazing cheekbones using a little bronzer providing a subtle glow. Finally I added a natural blush from Nars called Bumpy Ride.
Kate originally wanted to keep her hair down as she never really wears it up, she wanted to feel comfortable on the day and when looking back at her pictures. We tried a couple of different styles on her trial and she decided to opt for a loose up do.
I curled her hair into soft curls and pinned it up into a loose bun at the back of her head, I left the front loose to give the impression that her hair was down which was perfect to keep her hair out of the way on such a warm summers day. We finished the look by adding the Ice Angel Comb in gold from the Gemma Sutton collection.
I feel honoured to have been part of Kate's special day, she was such a calm bride and a pleasure to work with.
